sonic vista trying burn image drive not detected

I downloaded Vista, it opened Sonic, to burn the image on to a DVD, but my DVD/CD burner drive (E) is not being detected, what, am I not getting clear here, clue's people please? Thank you in advance. -- jeffreydavidmorris.com

I downloaded Vista, it opened Sonic, it said, drive not detected; my DVD/CD Burner drive is (E); after repeated attempt's to post this more detailed, I'm left with this. obvisously MS's website, etc. is banged up.
